AUDIO TOUR

Explore C.S. Lewis’s Cambridge at your own pace with our downloadable audio tour for just £4.99.

Details

From Christian Heritage Cambridge, join Sophie Jones to explore the city where C.S. Lewis spent his last nine years. From seeing his living quarters to stepping into his favourite pub, and hearing many stories along the way, there is much to see and learn!

Originally from Northern Ireland, Sophie completed an MPhil at the University of Cambridge focusing on music in C.S. Lewis’s imaginative literature. She is currently studying for a PhD on Lewis at Union Theological College, Belfast.

How to download

The audio tour is available via the guidl app for £4.99. To download the tour:

  1. Download the guidl app on your smartphone or other device.
  2. Create a username and password.
  3. Sample and buy the tour: ‘A C.S. Lewis inspired tour of Cambridge’ from Christian Heritage Cambridge.
  4. Follow the tour directions and enjoy exploring Cambridge!

As several locations on the tour are located inside Magdalene College grounds, we recommend checking whether the college (specifically, the First Court, Chapel and Fellows’ Garden) will be open before downloading the tour. You can do this by phoning the Porters’ Lodge on 01223 332100. Without access to Magdalene College, you will still be able to listen to the full audio, and view some of the college from across the river, but will not be able to view everything mentioned in the tour.
